Skull Island Camp Open House
Skull Island Camp Open House at Skull Island Camp (248-789-2223, www.skullislandcamp.com). Tour Skull Island, meet the
staff, and preview Skull Island camps at this fun event. Kids can try out the zip lines, fish, climb on the climbing walls & pirate ships, and more. Pontoon Boat ride shuttles run all day to and from the camp. Check out Skull Island for FREE.

Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program
Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program – Red Oaks Nature Center (248-585-0100). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy
nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. Southfield Free Summer Concerts
Southfield Free Summer Concerts – Southfield Gazebo Summer Concert Series, Eat to the Beat, Summer in the City, and Kids Concerts concerts are happening this summer. Southfield will be hosting the Gazebo Summer Concert series at Burgh Historical Park on Tuesday evenings from 7p-8:30p. Bring the family and enjoy the music!
You can also enjoy the Eat to the Beat summer morning concert series on select one Thursday a month at Civic Center Drive and Central Park Boulevard, and the Friday Night Concert Series at the Southfield Municipal Complex.

Madison Heights Juneteenth Celebration
Madison Heights Juneteenth Celebration – Family-friendly festival that attracts visitors from across the Metro Detroit Area. Children activities include bounce houses, crafts, petting zoo and pony rides. The festival also features free concerts, food trucks, vendors, educational exhibits and more. FREE admission. Southfield Outdoor Movie Nights
Southfield Outdoor Movie Nights – Southfield MI will host outdoor summer movie nights under the stars as part of their Family Fun Nights hosted periodically throughout the summer.
Previous years have offered fun for the whole family featuring a Kids’ Fun Area with loads of inflatables (you MUST wear socks to participate on the inflatables!), rock climbing wall and more.
Be sure to bring your lawn chairs or a blanket to sit and enjoy the movie. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
