Fire Prevention Week Events 2021 – Oakland County – Fire Prevention Week is October 3 through October 9, 2021. Fire departments and communities across Oakland County will hold open houses, demonstrations, and free family fun events that week (and other dates). This list will also include Oakland County Fire Departments’ events that take place outside of the actual dates of Fire Prevention Week.

Berkley Fire Prevention Week Events – Berkley Fire Department Open House / Lids for Kids
Berkley Public Safety Building (2395 Twelve Mile Road, Berkley MI 48072)

Huntington Woods Fire Prevention Week Events – Hay Day / Touch a Truck / Public Safety Open House

Climb on fire trucks, enjoy free food, city trucks, jail cell tours, driving simulators, firefighter obstacle course, fire safety demos, bouncehouses, and more. Birmingham Fire Prevention Week Events – Fire Department Open House – Cancelled for 2021
Adams Fire Station (572, South Adams, Birmingham MI)
The hands-on event offers attendees an opportunity to operate a fire hose and learn about fire safety. Portable fire extinguisher and DTE Arcs and Sparks demonstrations also will take place during the open house. View an EMS and vehicle extrication display, along with HAZMAT apparatus and equipment. The Beaumont One helicopter will also be at the event. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and view the inside of the helicopter.
