The Rink at Royal Oak review, pics, hours, and admission info for the ice skating rink located at Centennial Commons on E 3rd St just East of S Troy St in Downtown Royal Oak. The rink across the street from Lockhart’s BBQ and the entrance to the Royal Oak Public Library.
The rink is NEW for the 2022/2023 season and will be host to many Downtown Royal events. It also figures to be a prominent part of upcoming Winter Blast events held in Royal Oak.

Ice Rink hours will be from Saturday, November 19, 2022 through February 19, 2023 and will be closed on Thanksgiving.

- Sundays through Tuesdays – 11-9p
- Wednesdays through Thursdays – 11a-10p
- Fridays through Saturdays – 11a-11p

ADMISSION COSTS / DISCOUNT INFO
Admission – Skating rink entry is $10. Skate rentals are available for $5. Skate rental is for adults up to size 14 and kids sizes 9 and up. Royal Oak residents can skate for FREE with valid ID through December 14, 2022. Payment can be made via cash, credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. A rink-issued writstband is required to enter the ice rink. Pop, chips, hot chocolate, s’mores kits and other snacks and beverage are available for purchase.
Discounts – There is a variety of ways to save money at the ice rink. Currently offered is FREE Skate Rental Mondays, an opportunity to save $2 on fees if you bring a cocktail in from Royal Oak Social District participating bar/restaurant, Senior Skate coffee club on select days only, and more.

- No one is permitted on ice without skates or during ice resurfacing
- No food or drinks
- No sitting on or climbing on boards or railing
