There are plenty of fun things to do in and around Metro Detroit this weekend. This list will try to highlight some of the weekend events Metro Detroit – big and small – for kids and families. South Lyon Weekend Events – Agri-trainment – Fall Family Fun at Erwin Orchards

Burton Weekend Events – Sloan Dinosaurs Unearthed Exhibit

Sloan Museum’s new 10,000 square-foot exhibition space inside Courtland Center Mall. Sloan’s Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibit is an exhibit with immersive displays and hands-on activities. The life-size dinosaurs are state-of-the-art and scientifically accurate. Dinosaurs Unearthed features a total of 18 moving and roaring dinosaurs, as well as giant skeletons, fossil casts, and hands-on activities. $10 adults, $9 seniors 60+, $7 youth ages 2-12. Northville Weekend Events – Barn Yard Play Land
Three Cedars Farm and Cider Mill (7897 Six Mile Road, Northville, MI 48167, 248-437-8200)
$5 a family Hayrides take you around the property back to Corn maze and the U-Pick pumpkin patch. You can also reserve evening hayrides to a bonfire. Don’t forget there is also Fall fun for the younger ones. Barn Yard Play Land had modern playground equipment in a fun kids barn, a John Deere trike track, Peter Rabbit bunny village, lots of farm animals, and educational tutorials. Review – Pics.

Enjoy the evening air as you head into Heritage Park after dark at a Full Moon Friday Night Hike. Listen for nocturnal animals, observe the night sky, and heighten your senses along the way! Hike will be cancelled (with refunds) in case of inclement weather.
