2012 Pistons Days at Meijer

The Detroit Pistons have announced 2012 Pistons Days dates, times and participating Metro Detroit, Michigan Meijer locations hosting the events. I took my kids to see Tayshaun Prince signing autographs Pistons Day near my house a couple of years ago. The Pistons do a great job with the event. The lines move quickly and the crew from The Palace have a lot of Detroit Pistons freebies to giveaway in addition to the autographs. Winterfest in Berkley is back for a 2nd year of free winter family fun on January 28th, 2012. Berkley's Winterfest is a great way to celebrate Michigan winter with many events and activities.

The mild Michigan weather this winter is delaying the winter fun or canceling many metro Detroit winter festivals altogether. The Winter Bliss Festival at Kensington Metropark in Milford has been canceled due to the warm weather and Winter Family Fun Day at Beverly Park in Beverly Hills has also been scrapped for 2012.

Hippo's Hot Dogs restaurant has been around for decades in their Troy, Michigan location. Chances are if you live anywhere close to Hippo's, you already know all about it.
